The works in the House of Ideas: Modern Women exhibition at Heide Museum of Modern Art (May–October 2021) were selected and drawn together to highlight the often-overlooked contributions of the creative women who were part of the Heide group.

This collection of poems presents the responses of twelve poets to the exhibition and Heide grounds, further extending the celebration of these influential and progressive women artists, writers and thinkers, who were central to Heide’s cultivation as a vibrant intellectual and artistic environment.
