Call for submissions: The ART Issue

Rabbit is currently accepting submissions of nonfiction poetry for Issue 36: the ART Issue, to be guest co-edited by Leah Muddle and Angela Gardner.

At the doorway to the journal's 36th edition, themed Art, think not: what does 'non-fiction' do to poetry; think: what can poetry (+ art) do to non-fiction? What do poetry and art bring to one another? How does one open and enlarge the field of the other? How do they enliven the 'real world'? Send us your experiments, your abstract takes; lines that lift from the page; poems that, as Louise Bourgeois says - 'do something to me'.

Please send up to 3 poems in one document through Rabbit’s Submittable site. Please include in the cover letter of your submission:

• full contact details (postal address, email)

• 50-word max. bio

• a short (50-word max.) response to the following: "What does poetry offer to writing about/of art?"

SUBMISSIONS CLOSE MIDNIGHT Tuesday 31st May 2022
