Come celebrate the launch of RABBIT 3: The Visual Issue

This issue includes:

**new poems by Michael Brennan, Anne M. Carson, Matt Hall, Susan Hawthorne, Patrick Jones, Julie Maclean, Mark O’Flynn, Pete Spence and more**

** an essay by Bonny Cassidy **

** an interview with, and new works by, American poet/ artist/critic Johanna Drucker **

RABBIT will be launched alongside three other new publications:

* thou sand by Michael Farrell (Tinfish Press, 2011)

* birdlife: poetry, writing and visual art (Lethologica, 2011)

* marionette: notes toward the life and times of miss marion davies by Jessica L. Wilkinson (Vagabond, 2012)

When: Friday 27^th January, 6.30pm – 8.30pm

Where: Bella Union (Upstairs, Trades Hall) Cnr. Lygon and Victoria Streets, Carlton.

SUBSCRIPTIONS NOW AVAILABLE

We are pleased to announce that one-year subscriptions to Rabbit Poetry Journal are now available through the ‘subscriptions’ panel on this website. Subscriptions are $60 (within Australia) and $70 (International) per year. These prices include 4 issues with postage as well as a small ‘subscribers only’ gift. Subscribers will also be issued a confirmation card through email which can be printed or forwarded to a recipient if bought as a gift.

Upon purchasing a subscription, subscribers will receive an email asking them to specify the issue number at which they would like their subscription to begin. Subscribers will also receive a quarterly email with rabbit-related news and updates.

Rabbit # 2 LAUNCH

Join fellow rabbits for the launch of Rabbit # 2 @ The Alderman, Upstairs, 134 Lygon Street, Brunswick East on Wednesday 26^th October, 630pm. There will be readings by Allison Browning, Mark Prendergast, Michael Farrell, Zoe Dzunko, Ann Vickery, and a music/poetry performance by Patrick Jones and Anthony Petrucci (Souls on Board). Copies of the new Rabbit will be available for purchase!

RABBIT is a new Australian journal for poetry, with an emphasis on new and emerging rabbits. RABBIT publishes all things poetry, including reviews, essays and interviews. The inaugural issue of RABBIT was launched in Melbourne on Saturday, 9th July 2011 at Bella Union as part of the Poetry & the Contemporary Symposium. The issue is available for purchase online through the Melbourne University Bookshop website, and will be distributed throughout all good Melbourne and Australian bookshops soon.
